could also be a timing issue. checking on my machine locally, everything seems to be working except some packets only arrive after being sent twice, which is extremely weird. ill increase SoTimeout whenever a packet begin byte is received.

ok this makes communication 100% reliable. ill call this fixed until @UnixSystemV says otherwise. pushing to main with new tuddylib back in.
